Billie Joe tweets about Green Day's new music

Billie Joe has posted in he twitter a little bit more about the new Green day music,

"Ok here's the scoop. GD has been jamming new songs everyday. There's a ton of new songs. The direction is fresh and hi energy. Feels great

I don't want to give away too much but just know that me mike tre and Jason are collaborating and having the best time playing music.

And that's not bullshit!!"

Billie Joe first wrote about the band playing new music back in March 2011, after he left to NYC  to play St. Jimmy for the final month of the show on Broadway.

"Playing new songs with Mike Tre and Jason the last couple weeks. Really fun. And working hard!"

Update : Billie Joe say in twitter about the new album will be only in cassette :

"Our next album will be available on cassette only"

At last, Mike now have a account in Twitter, This news has been confirmed by Green Day's official website at Greenday.com.

Mike Dirnt started his account with a picture of an egg white with purple background, and he not tweet any word now but his follower now 1,311 people.

Green Day's in South America!!

Today, Green Day will begin his tour of South America in Caracas, Venezuela, at the Campo de Futbol Universidad Simon Bolivar. This will be their first tour in South America after they last did it 10 years ago.

Billie Joe sings new short song at his final performance for the American Idiot musical

Last night was Billie's final performance as St. Jimmy in the American Idiot musical. Billie had tweeted earlier the day :

"St Jimmy is sad.. This is my last day.. Tonight I'm gonna fuck shit up!! This is not goodbye.. This is so long.. St jimmy rules!"

He added a new little tune to the beginning of Time of your Life, which closes out the show.

American Idiot musical announced that Billie Joe will be joining the cast to play St. Jimmy from Tuesday September 28 - Sunday October 3rd.
