Rumors were swirling all weekend about Tre's engagement during the last American Idiot Musical show. Tre officially confirmed it today on his Facebook.

Happy Birthday to Best Drummer In The World Tre Cool !!!

 Tre Cool celebrates his 38th birthday today. Tre Cool whose full name Frank Edwin Wright III born December 9, 1972  in Willits, California, USA.

Tre Cool (and his Horseshoes and Handgrenades tattoo) in the new Kat Von D book

Tattoo artist Kat Von D released a new book, "The Tattoo Chronicles" in October, and it includes some Tre Cool in it.

"The tattoo is inspired by a Green Day song, 'Horseshoes and Hand Grenades.' I really love that song, and i got the tatooo before we recorded it. I'm glad the song made the album!"

Kat Von D has previously talked about tattooing up the guys when she talked about

Billie Joe's photostrip on his arm, and doing Jason Freese's awesome tattoo in her last book.

Short video interview with Tre cool from yesterday

Tre sat down with Live 105 radio yesterday just before their show in Mountain View to talk about the show, Twitter, being stuck in the elevator and a couple other bits. Watch the interview below :

Tre talks about being stuck in the elevator

We finally get a chance to hear directly from Tre Cool story when he was locked in the elevator / lift. Tre get a chance to tell how the incident could have happened when he was in an interview by Matt and Leslie on 101.9 RXP. As we know,  Billie Joe told us on Twitter: when Tre is locked for an hour when the 4 Seasons who was in Chicago (After Lollapalooza).

'Tre stuck in elevator for an hour at 4 seasons in chicago!!!'

He mentions that he broke the elevator by jumping in it while it was moving.

'I was jumping in the elevator, then it just dropped a bit then I fell on my ass and then we were stuck' 

Virgin Radio interview with Tre

Before Green Day was set to play yesterday at the Jammin Festival in Venice, Italy (concert was canceled due to weather) Green Day drummer Tre Cool did a short two and a half minute interview with Virgin Radio.

They talk about the American Idiot musical and Tre confirms that a Hollywood movie is in the works along with talking about the upcoming tours in the North and South America.
