2 Video Green Day at Lollapalooza

Green Day's performance at Lollapalooza is currently being aired on Palladia. And we lucky enough to share a video that was recorded by  Green Day Authority, and they give 2 pieces of video that is Know Your Enemy and Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Here The Video :

Know Your Enemy :

Boulevard Of Broken Dreams :

What's it like to sing with Green Day? Effin' awesome.

MTV interviewed Dan Michie, a 17-year-old Green Day fan who had the chance to jump on stage with Green Day and sing "Longview" at Lollapalooza this past weekend.

For starters, Dan was awesome. Ran all over the stage, climbed on top of the cabinet of speakers, said "asshole" during the "Call me pathetic, call me what you will" line - you can see Billie Joe laughing or smiling throughout his performance. At the end Billie Joe said "Holy shit. This is the best singer we've had the whole fucking tour", then gave him his guitar.

Dan told MTV that he had planned to take a train back home, but after he got the guitar, Green Day's tour manager said it probably wasn't a good idea, and they arranged for a driver to take him back home. Here's a quote from Dan about joining the band on stage from the MTV article

'"There are no words to describe it. If you've ever seen 80,000 people before, that's one thing, but seeing them look back at you, that's something that doesn't even seem real," Michie said. "And then, when I was walking towards [Armstrong] to give him a hug, I was just thinking, 'Oh my God.' You see him in pictures every day, but it's a completely different thing to see him in real life."'
Here's the video of his performance.

Green Day rocked At Lollapalooza

In about 10:00Am WIB (Time in Indonesia) Lollapalooza's website already streaming four songs from Green Day's performance in Chicago. So click here to go to Lollapalooza website to start watching. The site is showing songs from Erykah Badu's performance but Green Day will be on after she is done.

Song1: When I Come Around
Song 2: Brain Stew
Song 3: 21 Guns
Song 4: Jesus of Suburbia

ConsequenceofSound.net has posted their review of Lollapalooza raving on about the bands action packed two hour set full of fireworks, confetti, and stage divers.

'Armstrong intended to do more than just rile up the crowd, he wanted to turn the Windy City into a fiery hellstorm. Take for example, the event's 10 p.m. curfew, which he sneered at, jovially declaring, "I say you kiss my white fucking ass, and we'll play how long we want." It should be noted that he stuck true to his words.'

Shortly after the show had come to a close Billie posted the following message on the band's twitter.

'Lollapalooza was amazing! Best festival in america! Chicago was perfect location! Highlight-screwing up lyrics for she's a rebel! Oops.RnL'

Green Day Light Up Their Headlining Set At Lollapalooza

Green Day have come an awful long way since their humble beginnings as a regular act in small clubs in the late '80s. Through a gradual increase in the band's popularity and progressive improvements in their live chops, they have evolved into a slick, well-oiled rock and roll machine. They brought their big-time, stadium-sized sensibilities to the final slot of Lollapalooza's Saturday night (August 7) and delivered an incredible set of tracks that have evolved into classics.

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong is especially impressive, as he careens from one end of the stage to the other rallying the crowd, inspiring them to clap along and leading singalongs through the extended bridges. All the while, he manages to hold down his guitar and vocal parts, which are sharp as ever (especially on the complex, often dark tracks from the group's most recent album 21st Century Breakdown).

Though you may never have guessed it had you seen the group in their infancy, Green Day are a massive rock and roll machine, and Armstrong is the died-in-the-wool star leading the attack.
