The festival season got underway at the weekend with the Evolution festival in Newcastle and the 
Netherlands’ Pinkpop.

This video comes to us from our friend François Bonzon from Green Day Videos.com. He was also at the show and took these pictures while there. It looks like they got rid of the giant LED screens behind them, and put up some giant banners. I wonder if they'll keep that for the whole tour, or if this was just for the festival.


Yesterday was Green Day's first show of the 2010 World Tour which will be starting in Europe, then coming back to the USA, then going to South America. Full dates for the tour can be found here
