Kerrang Magazine has put together a list of who they believe are the most influential rock bands of the last 30 years. And guess what ? Green day has come in second place of the 10 bands that is on the list,

Billie Joe In Kerrang Magazine

Kerrang talks with Green Day about making American Idiot

Kerrang! Magazine has a 5 page feature on the making of American Idiot, which came out last week - just in time for the albums 6 year anniversary.

They talk to Billie Joe, Mike, Tre and Rob Cavallo about what into making this album. It's actually a pretty great read, with Billie Joe spending some time reflecting on writing and recording the album.

Kerrang Awards 2010

Green Day has been nominated this year for two Kerrang awards, the award for 'Best Live Band' and 'Best International Band'. 

In the competition Green Day is up against acts including 30 Seconds To Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Paramore, and Bullet For My Valentine.
